Which of these stethoscopes do you like best?
My dads a physician and his 52nd bday is in like two months and i was gonna have my aunt order one for him and i will pay her back but which of these do you like best:

That would be a very nice gift but there are a few considerations. First of all would be your dad's specialty. If he is a cardiologist, perhaps you should ask him for a preference, because that is a critical instrument. If he practices internal medicine or family medicine, many docs prefer the Littman models. They are very flexible and lightweight, durable, have excellent acoustic qualities, and have interchangeable ear tips for greater comfort. They also come in pediatric and adult models. The pediatric models have a smaller diaphragm (flat end) and bell. The last stethoscopes you referred to do not seem of good quality and I would avoid those.
Be careful of color. Many docs are rather conservative when it comes to stethoscope color. Black works for old geezers like me. A younger man might ... well, I don't know.
To repeat, it is a wonderful idea for a gift, but remember that it is a very personal tool, and don't be offended if your dad exchanged it for a different one. It's your thought that counts. So be sure to check the company's exchange policy.
